The Most Reverend Dr. Dermot Clifford, Archbishop Emeritus of Cashel and Emly attended the opening night’s performance of Clonmel Theatre Guild’s MOLL last evening. The guild were honoured that His Grace came to Clonmel to watch their performance of John B Keane’s play. Dr Clifford went backstage to meet the cast and crew afterwards and congratulated them on a wonderful show. He told them he thoroughly enjoyed the play and mentioned that he actually met John B Keane in the past. The Archbishop kindly posed for photographs with the cast, including actor Michael Hennessy who plays the role of the Bishop in MOLL who was still in costume.
