About the Workshop
Amy Hill has devised a three hour drama workshop based on improvisational skills. Participants will learn how to unlock their imaginations, work with spontaneity, and develop storylines in the moment. The workshop will address some of the most common resistances actors encounter when working with others. The workshop is designed to help individual’s break down their inhibitions and act as part of an ensemble. Performance aspects such as voice work, physicality and mime will be addressed. This will be a fun and lively experience.
People are encouraged to bring any costumes or props they may have as such items will be useful tools for character development. Please wear comfortable clothing, bring a bottle of water and a snack if necessary. Tea/Coffee & biscuits will be provided.
Who is this Workshop for?
This workshop is for anyone aged 18+, who has ever had an interest in drama or acting and would like to come along to learn more or see what it is all about. It promises to be a fun filled afternoon where no one takes themselves too seriously, while Amy shares her skills and talents with the group. Whether you have previously acted on stage or have never acted but always wondered what it would be like to have a go, this workshop is for you.
